History of Emilio S. Lim Appliances
Emilio S. Lim Appliances (ESLA) was established in 1967 and built its reputation around personalized installment sales and making household appliances more attainable for Filipino families.
A 2010 Philippine Star profile described ESLA as celebrating its 43rd anniversary and reported that Jimmy Lim took over the business in 1992. During a period of prolonged power interruptions and economic difficulty, the company introduced a “no down payment” approach to help customers continue acquiring needed appliances.
Today, ESLA continues its long-standing focus on quality appliances, flexible financing, supplier partnerships and customer care while adapting to a modern, digital retail experience.
